In line with the Lagos State Government’s commitment to continuous improvement in parking management, the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) has commenced operations in its Area Office in Yaba.
The office, located inside the Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA) at 379 Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba, commenced operations in May 2025.
Speaking on the initiative, the General Manager of LASPA, Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu, stated that the creation of the Yaba Area Office was a deliberate move by her Agency to ensure a broader and more efficient coverage of the Yaba axis.
According to her, LASPA officials are now on the ground in the Yaba Local Council Development Area to ensure a smoother and safer parking experience, as well as to improve business turnaround time for residents.
While acknowledging that the Yaba office is the first Area office to be opened by LASPA, she noted that several other offices would soon be opened to ensure faster and more efficient service delivery to the people in the various Local Government and Council Development Areas of the State.
The Yaba Area office is expected to serve as a central point for stakeholder engagement, enforcing compliance, and parking infrastructure development within the Yaba LCDA.
